Are You Free?

We will never be free as long as we let society define us. We enter this world full of promise and then, it begins. Rules of how we must feel and believe start to mold us in whatever system we landed in. Being molded is never a pleasant experience, but living day to day with constraints is not living free, and not allowing us to be our genuine selves.

What keeps us from living our life free is fear. We want to be accepted and loved. We don’t want to appear weird or be bullied by society, or even our family. We sometimes put up a façade to hide who we really are. But are we happy? Impossible to be. Isn’t being happy and achieving the peace of mind that comes with happiness what makes life worth living?

That’s it. Finding the courage to face our fears will give us the gift of living our lives free. And in doing this, think about what a difference we could make in someone’s life or even in the world. Such a beautiful gift to give ourselves. To breathe without restriction. To be free like wildflowers spreading out in a garden.

Isn’t now the time to be free?
