“Life is the dancer and you are the dance.” ~ Eckhart Tolle
Just relax. Nothing ever gets done in a good way by being stressed. Breathe deeply, let your thoughts go. Things aren’t all bad in your life. There is much good; open your eyes and see it.
Everything doesn’t have to go your way. Have no resistance; learn to flow. So much is missed when we are uptight, and life just goes by. Stay with the present moment, and don’t let the past or future take you over.
We all have obstacles in our life. Some days are good to us, and some are horrible. The secret is to not let those hard times take over and define our life.
It takes practice and patience, but learn to chill. You’ll be happier for it.
“Those who flow as life flows know they need no other force.” ~ Lao Tzu
I have a plaque with these words of wisdom on it. I refer to it whenever I’m just not sure what I’m supposed to be doing with my life. And, when I read these words this is what I think about:
Don’t wait to start your life; tomorrow may never come. Don’t fear the obstacles that might get in your way.
Life will not wait for you to get started. You have to make that choice, so seize the day!
Look at your life as one big adventure just waiting for the excitement to begin. But like any big ticket ride there will be ups and there will be downs, but baby, that’s just part of the fun called “LIFE.” And another thing, don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t, ‘cause you certainly can!
“Only those who risk going too far can possibly find out how far they can go.” ~ T.S. Eliot
Don’t let anything in life get in the way of what you truly want. Keep those dreams and plans and simply go for it. Obstacles do appear from time to time and make our lives stressful, but you have to kick the barriers down and go for what you want.
“A musician must make music, an artist must paint, a poet must write, if he be at peace with himself. What a man can be, he must be.” ~ Abraham Maslow
I know it’s hard sometimes, and life can sure get us down. But don’t be rolling up in a ball and hiding from all the hassles that keep raining down. Pick yourself up–I know you can, and then just do what you need to do and see how far you can go. In the long run, you’ll be happy that you did, and you just might surprise yourself at how far you’ll go.
Life is what you make it and it can become your friend, or foe, so why not just decide to make it your friend and flow.
“As soon as you trust yourself, you will know how to live.”
