Is There Really a Problem?

We humans have a terrible habit and need to generate problems. We do encounter real problems on our life’s journey and we have to figure out how to deal with them, but how do you deal with a problem that we or someone created that was never there in the first place?

I bet a lot of the problems we come across aren’t really problems at all; they are simply an obstacle that either we, or another person decided to place in the way. And that’s so sad because it just litters the highway we are traveling on, and takes time away from the real issues in life–not to mention robbing us of joy.

So how can you tell the difference between a real problem and a fake one? A real problem has substance. You can see, feel, smell and taste it, and in doing this, you can deal with it and finally fix it. If it’s one that was created, it has no substance and the only power it has is what you give it.

Do you really have a problem, or are you just unhappy about something and letting your imagination run wild and making one up? Maybe you’re minding your own business and a family member or co-worker decides to design a problem just for you. What do you do? Nothing. Pull yourself away from yourself, or the other person and don’t play the game. Because that’s all it is, “a game.”

The ego is the designer of the game and the name of the game is “Problems.” If you don’t play then there is no game, and if there’s no game, there really isn’t a problem.

Life can be happy and even joyful if we stop making problems for ourselves and others. There is so much good we can do, and so much fun we can have. Don’t waste your time on pretend problems.

Make Way for the New

Some changes look negative on the surface but you will soon realize that space is being created in your life for something new to emerge.” ~ Eckhart Tolle

Sometimes things happen in your life where you realize it’s time to make a change in how you’re living. Sometimes life sends you lemons and the only thing you can do is make the best lemonade or pie ever! When you experience negative energies coming into your life trying to disrupt all you believe in, it’s really the universe trying to tell you it’s high time for you to create space for something wonderful to emerge. Whatever you do, don’t fight it!

Realize that from time to time in order to keep yourself vibrant you are going to have to do some spring cleaning. It’s hard to throw out the old to make room for the new, but it’s the only way to keep moving on. Relationships can get stale, predictable, and lose their luster if you don’t make room for something new. This is so true no matter what kind of relationship you are dealing with–even the one you have with your job.

Life’s no good if you have settled in for the mundane. It’s also not good if you’re living your life by someone else’s rules. Through your journey you will encounter people who won’t agree with how you’re living your life, or the decisions you make. They will try to take control over you and mold you into who they want you to be. When this happens, it’s a clear sign that it’s time for you to make some changes in order to create more space so you can live your life on your own terms.

This life you’ve been given is precious, but sometimes it needs a bit of tweaking to keep it healthy and full of joy. Don’t ever be afraid of change when needed to bring in the new because it’s the NEW that makes life worth living.

“All you need is passion. If you have a passion for something, you’ll create the talent.” ~ Yanni

When you find your passion you will find your life, and when you find your life, you will begin to live. I believe everyone is born into this world with a gift and that gift is called “passion.”

The problem is sometimes you don’t know what your passion is, or if you do know, you don’t have a clue on how to live it. Try different hats on and see which one inspires you, and the one that you get lost in is your passion. But just because you have a passion for something doesn’t mean it will come easy. Education and hard work to develop your passion is always necessary. So if you know what your passion is, get to work!

Don’t ever let anyone destroy your passion, and that includes you. If what you’re trying to achieve is truly your passion then it’s meant to be and your job is to create an environment for passion to develop. Don’t let yourself get discouraged; keep on the road driving straight toward your passion and ignore the bumps and fierce winds along the way.

A life with no passion for what you are doing is a sad life indeed. Having passion is your vocation that gets you up in the morning with a smile on your face, and tucks you peacefully in at night. Don’t pull the covers over your head in the morning and hide. And don’t lie awake at night wondering how you missed your life.

Open the gift you’ve been given, and as Tony Robbins says:

“Live With Passion!”
