Crazy Life

As crazy as life can get, don’t let it seduce and eat you up alive. Stay away from the stress and mess it seems to throw at you. Breathe and keep going for life can sometimes become an illusion, but you can make it as real as you want it to be.

Carve yourself out some solitude and go away from the madding crowd. For only in silence will you find your true self and be able to put yourself back in balance again.

“Solitude, in the sense of being often alone, is essential to any depth of meditation or of character; and solitude in the presence of natural beauty and grandeur is the cradle of thought and aspirations which are not only good for the individual, but which society could ill do without.” ~ John S. Mill

Learn to dance in the rain and always jump in the puddles because this is your life, dammit, and you will get through it somehow.

Don’t Shovel it Back

When people throw their negative energy your way, it’s natural to want to shovel it right back in their face, but don’t. Step back if you have to and learn to be silent instead.

Saying nothing doesn’t mean that you have let these negative leeches have their way, oh no, quite the opposite I would say. People who love to put their negative energy right out there for all to see, and especially want to hook on to you, are so locked up in their own head that anything you say will only make the situation much worse. These people have made a career out of being miserable and want you to be just as miserable. That’s why being silent or even walking away is best.

No one really sees how they are acting and that goes double for the negative vampires. Try your best to stay away from them, and certainly don’t invite them to be your friend. But if staying away is impossible because they are at work, your neighbor, or even in your family, just take a deep breath and mentally go far away to even a different land if you can!

You can’t do anything about the negativity in others, but you can in yourself. Be grateful for who you are and what you have, and always look on the bright side of things. You feel good when you surround yourself with positive energy and life becomes so sweet. If nourished, positive energy will always win, and you can walk right by those negative souls and not feel a thing.

“People Inspire you, or they drain you–pick them wisely.”
~ Hans F. Hansen

Be the Who Inside of You

Be the who inside of you and don’t fear what you might say. Life will only work for you if you can learn to accept yourself all the way.

Don’t care if people don’t like who you are because it usually just means you haven’t met the right people in life so far. Of course, this is all if, and only if, the who that you are is loving and kind toward everyone in sight.

Maybe you’re a little bit socially awkward and you think people find you a bit strange. I’ll let you in on a little secret, we’re all awkward and strange in our own way. Take a deep breath and take the focus off of you and put it on someone nice and new. The people who deserve your friendship will come your way if you stay true to yourself in every way.

Take your shoes off and run along the shore with negative thoughts flying right out the door. Let the sea air lift you up making you feel free, and ready to accept this beautiful who that rests inside of you.

“As soon as you trust yourself, you will know how to live.”

~ Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

The Sea

“With every drop of water you drink, every breath you take, you’re connected to the sea. No matter where on Earth you live.”

~ Sylvia Earle

She is powerful and yet gentle… the sea. Capable of mood swings from torrent gray to calming turquoise bays. One thing is for sure, the sea knows she’s in charge and will always demand your complete respect. Don’t ever turn your back on her because she likes to tease and be sneaky.

The sea can also rock you like a little baby if you meet her in a serene mode, or choose a location where she’s happy putting her waves at rest. She will even let you swim and play all day because she knows your beginnings came from her.

If you’ve never had the chance to swim in the sea, or sit on a beach and just watch her magnificent beauty, then sit down right this very moment, and somewhere comfortable. Now, close your eyes and think of her and there in your mind she will be.

The sea has powers–such great powers to remove all your stress and take it so far away that you can’t even remember what you were all upset about in the first place. Breathe in deeply, and then out, letting all your negative thoughts be washed away. Feel the clean salt air relax the tension in your chest and in your shoulders. Don’t you just feel better already?

Once the sea graces your soul… she my friends, will never let you go.

“Sometimes we are lucky enough to know that our lives have been changed, to discard the old, embrace the new, and run headlong down an immutable course. it happened to me… on that summer’s day, when my eyes were opened to the sea.”

 ~ Jacques Yves Cousteau

Give Thanks

Go outside and look at all the life that surrounds you. It really is something isn’t it? Breathe deeply and let your stress pour right out. Relax those shoulders and feel the tension blow away with the falling leaves. Everything is good because you are alive. Give thanks for this life of yours and gratitude for the who you are so far.

Dream big my friends because that’s what you’re supposed to do. Just please don’t get lost inside yourself. Try flying with love as your co-pilot and stay above those clouds. Give thanks for the gift of life, and stay present never wasting even a second of the wonderful person you are.

“It is through gratitude for the present moment that the spiritual dimension of life opens up.”

~ Eckhart Tolle

Breathe

“When you own your breath, nobody can steal your peace.”
~ Author Unknown

Breathe in deeply and welcome in the new day.

Force out any negative energy that hitched a ride the day before and stayed for a sleepover.

As you breathe, notice how every inch of your body is relaxed and ready for the new day.

As you go about your day, take notice on how you’re breathing.

Did that stressful morning meeting with your boss cause you to breathe shallow?

Is there a dull ache in your shoulders, and a tightness in your chest? Just breathe.

Close your eyes for a second and breathe in deeply. As you exhale, let all the negativity leave your body.

Did you just get cut off in traffic, and is that idiot still bumper chasing you? Breathe deeply.

When you’re sad just breathe; you’re still here and everything is going to be okay.

Why are the children yelling at each other and crying as they try and explain who did what? Breathe deeply before you respond.

Every breath you take cleanses you of negativity and nourishes your beautiful Spirit.

Breathe deeply and let the real you out and soar to new heights that you never thought were possible.
