Can we care too much? Perhaps. But better to care too much than not at all.
What sets us apart from evil is “Conscience.” Some of us might have an overactive conscience and it only becomes a problem if we think it is. Accepting who we are and trusting ourselves will keep us from self-doubt.
Letting our life force flow with our Spirits calling the shots without constraints, or stress, will indeed spread goodness and love upon this planet we call “Home.”
Caring too much might be a burden at times as we expect a lot from ourselves bringing some anxiety and sadness into our life. We have to realize that caring doesn’t mean we will always make the right decisions or even do the right thing. What’s important is that we keep trying and remembering we are only human. This is how we evolve and become better humans.
Caring too much puts gentleness upon the earth and its inhabitants. Sounds like a special gift to cherish.
I think the overall urge within us is to find that love and happiness Michele. Even though initially misguided by looking for it ‘out there’. But slowly we come back to us and build something wonderful. And yes, we are a good lot in general, it is just that fear thing that will drag us off our path…but maybe that is so we begin to miss the love thing and struggle to get back on it. Fear does make us do some horrible things, and love makes us do some beautiful things. I know where I want to be inside. Great post dear lady, may your ‘things’ be built on that wonder that is love 😀 ❤️ 🙏🏽 🦋

I agree, Mark. We are mostly a good lot in general and shouldn’t be afraid to show it and be it. Fear does sometimes get in our way doesn’t it.

Very nice blog, dear Michele🙂👍 “what sets us apart from evil is “conscience” ” –very true.
You are very right dear, we just need to do our best in our capacity, and our best doesn’t need to be perfect all the time.
“Caring too much puts gentleness upon the earth and its inhabitants. Sounds like a special gift to cherish.”
I appreciate!!
I hope you must be doing well, dear Michele🙂

So nice to hear from you, Saima. I am doing well, thank you. I sure miss your posts and hope you are doing well too. I agree that we can’t be perfect all the time and have to remind myself that just realizing that maybe I didn’t do as well as I had hoped means I’m evolving. We just keep on trying. Take care, Saima.

“. . . better to care too much than not at all.” Right — the people whose hearts are in the right place are the ones who make a positive difference.

Strange how caring often falls to the wayside, Caring for ones’ self is a good place to start and I’ve forced myself to slow down lately, just to see what that feels like again. Yesterday I even spent two minutes doing a pen and ink drawing. I can’t remember the last time I did any drawing. It’s those little things that make life immensely better. We all need to take a moment and experience a little kid-like play and self nurturing. xox

I love what you’re doing Pam on slowing down. It’s amazing when we do that how we discover what we’ve been missing. That’s how it was for me too. Wish I would have done it sooner, but life sometimes gets in the way. Slowing down and allowing that kid like play brings out our goodness too. xox

It’s a tough thing to keep up with so many competing interests for our time but I also wish I would have started earlier, Michele. 😘

It’s a play on words. There is no such thing as caring too much. If a person is “caring” too much, they’re not really caring. Something else is going on. Perhaps fear, need to control, problems in their own lives, and so forth… even meanness. Yes, some people seem to care but are only trying to control for their own ulterior motives.
