Be Still

“Wisdom comes with the ability to be still. Just look and just listen. No more is needed.” ~ Echart Tolle

Take a few minutes out of your busy day and just be still. Breathe deeply, and take in your life. This is all there really is. Just you in this body being still.

It doesn’t matter who you’ve become, how rich or poor you are, or if anyone cares you are even here. What matters is that you feel your life and know it’s a gift to be treasured.

Life is fleeting. Here today, gone tomorrow. You’re on a journey that has an end date, so as you’re being still, listen to your Spirit and allow it to guide you through the doors you are meant to open.  Feel love and give love and be who you are. You are that beautiful deep essence of existence.

“Be happy for no reason like a child.” ~ Deepak Chopra

Sweet Michele, these are beautiful words from your beautiful heart. I love what you said here: “Feel love and give love and be who you are.” — Amen! I wholeheartedly believe that so much of what ails us is because we have not yet understood the love Father God has for us. It is often called the orphan spirit. Love is so incredibly healing – both within ourselves and when received or given outside of ourselves. In fact, I believe it is in giving love and encouragement that we feel the most loved. I’m not sure how it works exactly but the healing power of giving is incredible, isn’t it?

Your reminder to simply be still is so simple, yet it holds so much power. We really do forget in the madness and uncertainty of life to be grateful for our very lives. We may not be where we want or hope to be but we are still here! The breath in our lungs and the opportunity for a new day are precious gifts we shouldn’t take for granted. Even when we feel like that’s the only thing we can be grateful for in the moment!

Sending my heartfelt love to you. Thank you for being you! ♥

  11. Thank you so much Holly for your beautiful comments. I so appreciate you. Yes, I too find that the healing power of giving is incredible and makes us human. I think with so many lost souls who have thought about ending it all that it’s important for them to know how precious their life really is. It’s so easy to get lost on our journey and think you just don’t count. But like the sign I saw on tv of a little girl holding on a black lives matter march, “My Life Matters,” made me realize we all need to remember what her sign was saying. Much love to you Holly.
