“It is amazing how your life changes when you embrace the reality that you’re better than the life you’ve settled for.”
~ Steve Maraboli
If you are unhappy with your life, you, and only you, can change things. Walk across that bridge to the life you are meant to live. Do this by making little changes every day in how you think about things, and how you treat the world you live in, and the people you engage with. Especially think about how you treat yourself. Change starts in the head. No matter where you go, what makes you unhappy will follow you.
“If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.” ~ Wayne Dyer
Don’t ever make drastic changes in your life while angry or hurt. Give feelings time to calm down. Ask yourself is this change you want to make for the better, or will it end up being for the worst.
Whatever you do in life, never settle for just anything. Make sure your life fills you with joy and purpose. There are always down days, and sad days, but a well lived life should lift you up, comfort you, and help you back on your journey.
You, beautiful human, deserve a happy life.
“Sometimes the smallest step in the right direction ends up being the biggest step of your life.” ~ Naeem Callaway
I didn’t but it was a bit hectic there for a while. Plus spirit threw me in the deep end so I could see through those fears we hold, otherwise I would have done the usual and avoided them.
Great post Michele and a thank you again for your lovely support 😀 ❤️ 🙏🏽 🦋

I’m so glad you are feeling better Mark. When Spirit throws us in the deep end it’s quite dramatic, but something good always shines through. Thank you for sharing your journey and being you. xo

I love this post, Michele! Very wise words indeed, my friend. It reminds me of the Scripture from Proverbs 15:13, “A joyful heart makes a cheerful countenance, but sorrow of the heart crushes the spirit.”
So much in this crazy life is outside of our control. Yet, what we can control (our thoughts), we often don’t! When we allow our minds to run wild into the deep of negativity, we suffer untold consequences. It’s not always easy to be aware of our stinkin’ thinking, but the reward is worth it! An attitude of gratitude really can shift our focus from darkness to overwhelming light in the blink of an eye, even though our actual circumstances have changed none!
I also love what you said about not making drastic changes while in the thick of the emotional storm. We simply can’t think calmly or wisely when in that state. You’re right! Even in those days of life where we are downcast, discouraged, and lacking clarity – your words are true – just take one step, one day, at a time. It may be all we can do but it’s often all we need to do too. Plus, for me, prayer is my go-to. Faith moves mountains!
Sending my love to you, friend. Thank you for your kind, uplifting words! 🙏🏼

Just love your beautiful comments Holly, and thank you so much for sharing. I know it helps us all. I write from the heart of what I have experienced and learned, and observed from life all around me. If from my mistakes and realization I can help anyone see things in a more clear and balanced way, that makes me happy that I have shared my insight. I want everyone to experience a happy fulfilled balanced life where they can feel the peace. I wasted too many years not being this way and have seen too many lost souls die before they ever figured it out. Here’s to life well lived. Sending love your way. xo
