“Only those who risk going too far can possibly find out how far they can go.” ~ T.S. Eliot
Don’t let anything in life get in the way of what you truly want. Keep those dreams and plans and simply go for it. Obstacles do appear from time to time and make our lives stressful, but you have to kick the barriers down and go for what you want.
“A musician must make music, an artist must paint, a poet must write, if he be at peace with himself. What a man can be, he must be.” ~ Abraham Maslow
I know it’s hard sometimes, and life can sure get us down. But don’t be rolling up in a ball and hiding from all the hassles that keep raining down. Pick yourself up–I know you can, and then just do what you need to do and see how far you can go. In the long run, you’ll be happy that you did, and you just might surprise yourself at how far you’ll go.
Life is what you make it and it can become your friend, or foe, so why not just decide to make it your friend and flow.
“As soon as you trust yourself, you will know how to live.”
~ Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

This certainly is a small bit of reminder to stay up. I’ve been having terrible pain for the last 3 years and I’m afraid now how to preserve the ability to walk. Numerous doctors who I’ve seen didn’t risk to do anything, so, yes, it’s a huge obstacle. Depression sort of sneaks up because it would be so nice to just simply enjoy spring and so on. Everything upsets me now. I wanted to slowly walk to the store because I really needed some stuff, and I had to put if off. I will try to write something maybe later. I think most people try hard to make life livable, it’s just so that one difficulty tops another one and I start to realize how fast the life is passing and I haven’t done even one tiny bit of what I wanted. So, yes, it makes me feel bad a bout lots of things.

I am so sorry, Inese, to hear that you are still not doing better. It breaks my heart because you are such a talented and beautiful soul. I sure hope that some doctor can find the answer to get you feeling wonderful once again and that you can truly enjoy your life. I know we are all pulling for you 🙂

I suppose, with enough money and very skilled surgeon, that could be cured. This doctor is most likely aware of how many complications could arise from such a surgery and if it isn’t done right, the effects would be devastating. The accident happened long ago, and yet one cannot make broken bones intact again and some wounds just don’t stay healed as expected. It is a huge uncertainty, as well, because realistically this condition won’t improve on its own. I was seeing a doctor in Europe also. This would cost a lot, much more than I can make in 10 years. There are moments when I just don’t think about this all, but then again the pain starts and it is impossible to forget it. Well, we shouldn’t fear anything and so on, but cells cannot be damaged forever. I am pretty much lost because with the health care what I can have here, I practically have no hope. We are sort of watching and waiting what will happen. How is that health care or treatment? Plain and simple: it isn’t.
