Don’t Shovel it Back

When people throw their negative energy your way, it’s natural to want to shovel it right back in their face, but don’t. Step back if you have to and learn to be silent instead.

Saying nothing doesn’t mean that you have let these negative leeches have their way, oh no, quite the opposite I would say. People who love to put their negative energy right out there for all to see, and especially want to hook on to you, are so locked up in their own head that anything you say will only make the situation much worse. These people have made a career out of being miserable and want you to be just as miserable. That’s why being silent or even walking away is best.

No one really sees how they are acting and that goes double for the negative vampires. Try your best to stay away from them, and certainly don’t invite them to be your friend. But if staying away is impossible because they are at work, your neighbor, or even in your family, just take a deep breath and mentally go far away to even a different land if you can!

You can’t do anything about the negativity in others, but you can in yourself. Be grateful for who you are and what you have, and always look on the bright side of things. You feel good when you surround yourself with positive energy and life becomes so sweet. If nourished, positive energy will always win, and you can walk right by those negative souls and not feel a thing.

  1. Great post and quite timely for me lately as I have been getting a good bit of hate on my blog.

Anyway, I started delting, blocking, banning, and ignoring. Much much less stress 🙂

    God bless,

    James
